Technology Exchange was recently involved in a project that supported army welfare in the Middle East by providing Internet connectivity to soldiers while they were on duty. This mission provided extensive X band satellite communication to a site in the Middle East. This line of connectivity provides a compromise between the characteristics of different frequency bands, which is particularly suited to the needs of military users. X band VSAT frequencies characteristics ensure heavy rain resilience, efficient terminal sizing, and robust remote coverage.
Additionally, this line of connectivity consisted of broadband Internet and corporate network services based on satellites. The broadband service offered a two-way data transfer within the network and simultaneous Internet access. For example, VSAT private network services, broadcasting services, SCPC/SCPC, VSAT mini-hub solutions and VNO.
This project was fulfilled by Talia Limited.
