Technology Exchange has recently consulted on a project to install an extensive CCTV recording and monitoring system for a leading energy company. The client requested a standalone system to monitor wellheads found in remote oilfields. We reviewed their requirements and supplied them with an industry-leading Avigilon solution, as well as top-quality fixed and PTZ cameras. In addition, we provided them with a network-attached NVR for monitoring and recording purposes, with hot-standby support.
Based on the latest Avigilon Control Centre (ACC), our systems were connected to the existing network previously used by our client. Our new system used a wide range of features including:
- High quality and low bandwidth video recording.
- Joystick support for PTZ cameras.
- Hot-standby architecture support.
- Next generation video analytics
- Advanced search features.
- Event triggered alarms and many more.
Lastly, we offered full training to the security teams on the new systems, so they could fully benefit from all the features provided and use them to their full potential.
